Speech & Language Pathology


WSD’s Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are committed to supporting the school’s mission statement of ensuring our students are Bilingual, Empowered, Successful, for Today and Tomorrow, The BEST. SLP’s support the development of student’s communication skills by providing bilingual lessons that help grow student’s skills and confidence when communicating with a variety of communication partners.

SLPs facilitate progress on goals including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Spoken English Articulation
  • Spoken English Language
  • Pragmatic Language skills (ASL and English)
  • Speechreading
  • Auditory comprehension
  • Vocal Quality and Prosody
