Dates: First session is June 24, 2023 – July 22, 2023 (4 weeks). Second session will run from July 29, 2023 – September 2, 2023 (5 weeks).

Explore: Under staff supervision with leaders who are fluent in ASL, crew members camp for the entire session while completing conservation projects that include trail maintenance, habitat restoration, and invasive species removal throughout Washington!

Learn: Each day crews spend an hour working on a SEED (Something Educational Every Day) lesson. SEED topics cover environmental science, career pathways, and leadership development. The potential to earn high school credit is also available.

Benefits: Receive up to $1,665 ($333 per week) for participation in this service-learning program plus an additional $250 ($50 per week) in bonuses. Bonus amounts are based on reliability and safety. Meet other Deaf or Hard of Hearing youth from all across the country, forming lifelong memories over nights around the campfire and days on the trail.
