WSD is getting a new school building and gym!
After years of waiting, five buildings have been demolished to make room for a new K-12 school building and gymnasium. The new buildings are scheduled to open in the fall of 2024 and will be Deaf friendly and have state-of-the-art technology. D.E.A.F. is so happy that WSD students will finally get their new school! Unfortunately, the funding for the new school did not include money to build a new playground. So, this year, D.E.A.F. will donate 100% of all GiveMore24 donations to building a new inclusive and sensory-rich playground where children of all abilities can interact with each other. Please donate and help us give WSD students a playground that offers all children the opportunities to further develop physical, cognitive, sensory and social skills.
