Meet the Board - Rita Reandeau, District 6

Rita Reandeau currently works at the South Kitsap School District as the Director of Special Education. For the past 13 years, Mrs. Reandeau and her family have lived in Port Orchard, WA.

Mrs. Reandeau's first exposure with Washington School for the Deaf was in 1974 when she took an evening sign language class on campus while she was working at Washington State School for the Blind. Later, she worked with the deaf while in the Peace Corps when she helped develop schools for the Jamaican Association for the Deaf. After returning home and obtaining her Masters in Audiology, Mrs. Reandeau worked with the Programs for the Hearing Impaired in Tacoma Public Schools, first as an Educational Audiologist and later as a Program Administrator.
