Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers play an important role at WSD and are highly valued by our school. We will place you in a volunteer position based on your interest, experience, availability, and ASL skills. We welcome all ASL skill levels, from beginners to native signers.

If you are interested in volunteering at WSD, please read the Prospective Volunteer (pdf). Read about our Volunteer Opportunity!

“Volunteering at the Washington School for the Deaf in the Washington Reading Corps was the most rewarding 11 months I’ve spent to date. During the year, I learned as much as the students I tutored.”
